Is there seating available?
No, there is no seating provided on site.
You may take blankets and folding chairs with a flexible seat and backrest onto the event site (not permitted: deckchairs, folding chairs, beer tent sets, chairs with a tray/table). All items that may not be taken onto the grounds can be found on the back of the admission tickets or in the garden regulations.
Can seating be taken along?

Can I take food and drinks with me?
Yes, you are welcome to take food and drinks onto the event site.
Can food and drinks be purchased on site?
From admission to the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to buy food and drinks at various stands.
Where can I find a car park?
The Herrenhausen Gardens have their own paid car parks directly at the Great Garden. In addition, the green areas around the Graft are available as paid car parks. Please refer to our car park guidance system under "General information".
Can I park my motorhome at the Herrenhausen Gardens?
Yes, there is a motorhome car park directly at the Herrenhausen Gardens. The address is: Am Großen Garten 3, 30419 Hannover.
There is no supply and disposal.
Is the admission ticket also valid as a ticket for public transport?
Yes, the admission ticket to the "International Fireworks Competition" is valid on the day of the event from 15:00 until 05:00 on the following day as a ticket in all 3 zones of the üstra/GVH network.
Do the fireworks also take place in the rain?
Yes, the event will take place even if the weather is bad.
Can I exchange or return my tickets?
Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned. An exchange to another date is also not possible.
Do children have to pay?
Yes, but only from the age of 6. Children up to and including the age of 5 have free admission.
Is the entire Great Garden freely accessible on the evening of the event?
Large parts are freely accessible, but the burning area is cordoned off for safety reasons. The rear area will be cleared for spectators approximately one hour before the start of the fireworks display. Under "General information" you will find an overview of the security and spectator areas.
Is the "International Fireworks Competition" also suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes, the Herrenhausen Gardens are barrier-free. Disabled toilets and a separate area for wheelchair users are available.
From what degree of disability do you get a discount?
Anyone with a disabled person's ID card is entitled to a discount. If the authorisation of an accompanying person is proven in the ID (note "B"), the accompanying person is admitted free of charge and does not require an additional ticket.
Is it possible to leave the premises after admission?
No, it is only valid for a single admission. The ticket is cancelled by the first admission control and blocked for any further use. There is no re-admission after leaving the grounds.
Can I get replacement tickets if I lose my tickets?
No, if the tickets (Hard- or Print@home) are lost, there is no entitlement to a replacement.
Is the invoice also sufficient as an admission ticket?
No, only tickets with the QR code can be scanned, identified and validated at the entrance.
Can I also show the ticket on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can save the Wallet ticket directly on your smartphone. To do this, you need an app to be able to use the pkpass file used by Wallet.
I have not received my tickets by email.
Please also check your spam folder. Otherwise you can download the tickets again under "My tickets" in the Ticket2go ticket shop.
Why are the tickets personalised for self-printing?
Personalisation is required for the use of public transport. In this case, identity cards must be carried.
Can the tickets be re-personalised?
Yes, up to three working days before the date of the fireworks display, personalisation can be changed in the ticket shop https://visit.ticket2go.de/#!/ under "My tickets".
Collector's tickets can only be re-personalised at the Tourist Info for a fee.
Can I take photos and record videos of the fireworks with my camera?
Yes, you may take private photographs and video recordings of the fireworks.
Note: Please note that by purchasing an admission ticket to the International Fireworks Competition, you give your consent for audio, photographic and video recordings to be made during the entire duration of the event and for these to be reproduced and published without any time or space restrictions. Consent is given expressly waiving any claim to remuneration.
