With Arctic Colours of Lapland the Finnish team takes the audience into the fascinating natural world of Lapland - a region characterised by clear contrasts and intense colours. The show follows the two most impressive seasons in the far north: autumn and winter.
The first part is dedicated to autumn - the time when Lapland's nature prepares for the long winter. Trees and shrubs bathe the landscape in warm shades of yellow, orange and red. This natural spectacle, called „Ruska“ in Finland, unfolds as a glowing explosion of colour over Hanover and transforms the night sky into an impressive painting of Nordic beauty.
The second part spreads winter across the skies of the Herrenhausen Gardens. Glistening white snow, a deep blue starry sky and the mysterious glow of the Northern Lights are reflected in sparkling effects and cool colour compositions. Like dancing auroras, veils of light sweep across the firmament and create an atmosphere of silent, arctic vastness.
